What a success! We teamed up with Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr to host a client lunch and learn session. Saul Ewing is one of our Elite Enterprise clients who has seen absolute great success and ROI from implementing a business intelligence (BI) solution at their law firm.
This excerpt from their case study gives some background to why BI was even on Paul Levy, their CFO's, agenda:
Saul Ewing had a list of problems and goals they were trying to address with a new system for their firm. They recognized that a business intelligence solution was necessary to move their firm forward and began to explore their legal BI options, hence finding BigSquare.
Most importantly, they wanted a dashboard that was easy to use. Providing something to the lawyers that gave them relevant information in a few clicks would in turn save administration and finance's time generating reports. They wanted to streamline their reporting process. Saul Ewing was looking for something to deliver the important information and reports directly to lawyer's desktops without having to create excel pivot tables each time. They had many goals related directly to the entire reporting process:
1- Automate the reporting process
2- Improve ad hoc reporting
3- Replace FRx for reporting
4- Get off excel profitability model

The lunch and learn session was hosted on Thursday October 10 at Saul Ewing's office. We had 20+ attendees from various Philadelphia firms, the majority of them being firm management. The session kicked off with a catered lunch and some networking and attendees spent the remainder of the lunch hour hearing from Paul Levy about Saul Ewing's experience with business intelligence at his firm, specifically BigSquare's applications. The BigSquare team enjoyed the time spent at one of our client's offices, and the opportunity to connect with other legal professionals.
With the success and positive feedback from this event we are anxious to host our next lunch and learn in a new city! Where would you like to see us visit next?
